Spark plugs advice?

I have a 2000MY C280 with 52xxxxmiles. I am planning on replacing my spark plugs with new ones. Can I replace them myself? Is it a complicated work? and what brand and type plugs would you recommend? I was thinking of Denso Iridium, I have heard they are better than stock ones and adds some hp as well. Do evosport and magnecor spark plugs wires gives any benefits? They advice some Hp and smoother ride.

Thanks

I have NGK Iridium IX spark plugs. They're waiting to install, don't have much time to do them now. If you want the part # it's BKR5EIX stock # 6341. For my 1997 C280 (inline 6) 6 spark plugs are needed. The NGK plugs costed me 5$ each from ebay, about 35$ shipped, way cheaper than stores or the original site that sells at almost 7$ each. Here is a link from the seller I bought from. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NGK-I...QQcmdZViewItem

the dealer asked 540 for bosch ones , including installation. I did some research it seemed like i could do it myself. While at it, i decided to go for high-end ones for some more performance. Denso ones are a bit expensive (about 25 each) and 2000 C280 needs 12 spark plugs , which makes 300 total, still 240 cheaper than the dealers and it should bring a few more HP and 20k miles more life. (vs 100k bosch) this morning i also noticed the rough idling, i am now considering new set ignition wires as well. has anyone tried evosport ignition upgrade kit?
