question: are C-class easy to work on?
well are they?
are there good shop manuals with pictorials of parts and locations of parts?
I'm a chevy mechanic that's trying to transition into working on my foreign cars- benz 97 c280 and 98 t5 turbo volvo. If I only knew where the parts were located and how they look, I could save a bundle on repairs.
chime in please, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for the link
Thanks for the link! www.oempartsdirect.com used to have the same diagrams on their website, and then one day they didn't. i am still looking for an online site as comprehensive as theirs but that is based in the USA and is completely in english.

My guess is that MB made them take it down. I think this other site exists because it is in Russia where it is a little more difficulat to track down computer server owners and enforce copyrights.
