please help

hey im new ive been looking around looks like a great forum. My dad bought a S500 AMG a year ago and before that he use to drive a 1995 C280. He gave the C280 to me. I cannot drive yet but it is my project car. I plan to get a new exhaust, rims, body kit and more. But the first thing im planning to get is a ehaust like this one. I no i have to measure the size but do all exhuast pipes or mufflers require welding. If they do can i just take it down to a local pepboys and have them weld it on for me.
