A/c Blows
I have a 95 C280. My a/c works for a minute then stops. Are there codes to show the problem. I have seen temp sensors mentioned. I have also seen some threads that show a dyno mode, do I have one in this old of MB. My gas gauge doesn't always work either. Works fine with a full tank. Is there a sensor or could it be as simple as needing a new gas cap? I have had this car for 7 years with no problems except a wiring harnes and the normal brake pad replacement, now she's showing her age! Please help!

Do a search for a/c codes. and it will come up with the step by step instructions for the older style w202 climate control model like the one in your car. Thanks, I'll check it out. I had my a/c fixed today at the local MB dealer. It was the condenser temp sensor. A 28.00 part and I got charged 300.00. I've really enjoyed some of these sites and imput given to help fix problems and finding out about comem problems and fixes. I didn't know that I was able to check codes. I have a full size chevy van, a 25th anniversary mustang convert that I'm putting in a 500+ HP motor, my 280 and a 2007 toyota rav 4. All the threads have really helped me out. Thanks for your help and telling me about the w202 club.
