Mirror switch--Am I the only guy...
who keeps replacing these center console panels for just one switch? Now, all the functions are working, but the knob--only the knob--is missing from the mirror switch. And yep, that panel is about $240 wholesale. Have you guys done anything else, or is someone re-manning these, or modifying another knob to fit? I have kept two or three of these panels, using the window switches, but every one I have is missing the mirror switch knob. 98 C230 BTW, thanks for any advice.

If you ever decide to sell one of your spares, let me know. I have a '99 with a busted trunk release switch. Why they made it a "pull up" switch instead of a push button, I'll never know.
