Door rattle in 2000 C230
I have a 2000 C230 Kompressor and both front doors (particularly the driver's side) has an incredibly annoying rattle/vibration. The dealer couldn't hear it (which I can't believe as it's not an intermittent problem), my independent mechanic couldn't find it, and a body shop dismantled the doors and couldn't find it although they tightened everything they could find. The problem is persistent.
Does anyone have any experience with this or any ideas?

2000 C230K and 2002 ML320
It might not be the door... there is a piece of plastic that covers the seat mechanism at the B-Pillar... these tend to be loose and cause an annoying rattle/vibration... my drivers side is the only one that does it... I shove my wallet in there when I get in the car so it stops that noise.
