Im getting a black 99 C230 K on Friday w/ the sport package and upgrade w/ the Bose speakers and CD changer.
can someone express thier thoughts on this car and some features or cool info that qould intice me even more about this car

Cool features... auto up/down windows (all 4)... smartkey... remote window/sunroof control... car is a rocket... 10k mile service intervals... stereos are decent...
I love my car so much... I have toyed with the idea of getting a newer E-Class... but I still love this C230k and people still think its newer than it is... my car is in absolute perfect condition.

does the c230 come stock w/ a switchblade key that pops out if the button is pressed or is it the newer key fob w/ no key and you just stick it in the ignition? if thats the case then why is there a place for a key in the glovebox on pics ive seen of it?

Infrared key that I have had nightmares with. Make sure you have a spare!! (Ordered new one today, $170.00.)

Antenae is in rear widow, it sucks,\\\ get sattelite
Other than that, I LOVE this car. It is beautiful and rides nice. Out of my ten car history, this is the best.

yeah i went and test drove it today and i loved it! it has some nice giddy up and drives pretty smooth. i like the one touch up and down of the wondows. im getting it probably wed or fri of next week for 7, 500. it has barely over 102,000 miles and is in great condition.
is that a good price?

How many miles is to many miles
Hi all,
I have a 1999 C230 with almost 190,000 miles on. For the more part it is in really good condition, however all parts are the original parts. I am fighting with myself right now if I just put the money into it and change the needed things or do I simply just let it go and get something newer. Thoughts anyone.

Price is an objective decision. I have had more than 1 offer for my 1998 C230 in excess of $9,000.00, and just said "To me, it's worth more"
Most reliable and well engineered car for the year and the money.
Although the offers were good, I don't know what I would buy to replace it that would be anywhere as good.
I did buy a second one with 41000 original miles off Ebay for $4170.00, and I have yet to pick it up, but I will shortly. This will be my "spare tire" car when the first one wears out, if it ever does.
