1999 C280 Sport
Plug Replacement

Is there two plugs per cylinder and where is the #6 Located on a c280 sport? Thanks

2 plugs per cylinder total of 12. you have to remove the tube that connects the air box to the engine. you dont need any tools for that. you should be able to reach all the plugs on this side. the other side you shouldnt have problems with the first 3 cylinders, last one will be a bit difficult. I suggest you buy the tool for removing plug wires. autozone sells it for like 8 bucks.
then its easy job. use anti-sieze for the new plugs. the total job should not take more than 2 hours. make sure the engine is cold and once the old plug is out make sure nothing goes in to the cylinders. if your wires are old, i suggest u replace the ignition wires as well while you are at doing the plugs. for the plugs you will have to remove all of them anyway.
i removed coils before i even removed the wires, it made my job easier.

Since the original poster shows they have a 99, a 99 would be a V6.
