hi, i have a 95 c280, and it has an issue as above.

- engine starting is just fine.
- when i step on the accelerator, the RPM can go upto 1,500 and it just go down immediately, and the car and engine itself kind of jerk hard
- if i'm keep stepping on the gas, it does the reaction above again and again.
- the car can runs, but the speed less than 5mph.
- my friend and i, we've checked the cable harness and actuator, they seems ok. no breakage have been seen from the cables as well as cable short.

if you have any solutions, could you kindly share with me?

or do i have to bring this car to a nearest dealer for full inspection only to figure out what is really wrong with this car? is it going to be very expensive?
