heated seats help needed
The bottom part of the heated seat on the drivers side isnt working. I spilled a small amount (at most 50mL) of water on the seat after the car was off and used a towel to pick it up (not much to pick up...)
the motors work fine, but the bottom part doesnt! i'd be surprised if the element were somehow burnt out from that, but a short (which requires a new fuse) wouldnt surprise me. However, since there are 4 heated seat components in the car (bottom and lumbar parts on both sides) and only one is gone in my car, could it really be a fuse? I know that heated seats use a lot of power, but are there 4 fuses? What to do? Help!
new rule: no drinks (even water) in car

Tex,
Did you ever get any answers? My CLK55 has a problem with both seats. The dealership says it has to replace both heating elements on both seats. Does this sound right? Both elements are out? I suspect the dealership is just being lazy; they have a terrible reputation in this town and the one over.
