Dash pockets
I am trying to remove the dash pockets on my 1999 c230. I have the trim removed from the around the shifter. I have removed the ash tray insert but I can't figure out how to get the ash tray and lighter unit out. I also need to get the trim around the ash tray out because I think there are screws behind it. Can anyone help. Thanks.

The pocket above the ash tray is held in place by two small screws on the bottom of the radio bezel. Take those out and slightly draw the flap from the pocket down and slide the pocket out. There may be screws behind there for the ash tray. When I installed my SIRIUS I hid all the wires behind the pocket below the radio. Good luck.
