My original C280 stereo's lcd display isn't working correctly. In fact, the numbers are garbled so you can't read anything when trying to find stations; thankfully, the scan and seek buttons still work. The cassette deck doesn't work either -- the mp3/cassette adapter that I used broke and got stuck inside it about 1 1/2 years ago. Has anyone experienced anything similar? If so, I'd love some assistance.

I just got my head unit & amplifier back from Factory Car Stereo Repair in Fla. They rebuilt the unit(s) and replaced the LCD, which was almost unreadable. Comes with a year guarantee. Seemed worth it to me.
