CD changer 94 C220

I would like to install a CD changer to my 94 C220. Does anyone know of any aftermaket brands that will fit?

Thanks.

Alpine CD changers link directly to your factory radio. If you go to a descent car audio store they should be able to give you a model # and everything. If your previous stereo is CD Ready, the wires for installation should already be in the trunk. If they are, do the installation your self and save the $75. If not, I would advise letting them do the installation.

I have an Alpine changer in my 1996 C220. My dad had it put in when I was still in high school, but I believe it was $400 (back in the day when OEM changers were over $800). Since the OEM radio is CD-ready, it works seemlessly. However, unlike the OEM changers, the installation place mounted my changer on the top of my trunk, not in the well on the side of the trunk.

I installed an alpine changer in my 94 C280, and used a harness/adapter from Peripherals...I bought the adapter at www.sounddomain.com, or you can get a changer that's plug and play at www.autotoys.com. It's not hard to do...the plug is right in the trunk.

Thanks everyone for their help . Will likely do the self install. Would anyone care to post any pics of WHERE the wires for the radio come out of the cabin of the car? The battery is on the right trunk floor....all I see are the battery cable wires.

Thanks again.
