Smile NEW SPRINGS!!! Woo Hoo!!!

I just got my new Carlsson springs put on about 30 minutes ago!!! The car is AWESOME now!!! The weird thing is, it is smoother now than it was before??? Beats me. It looks incredible. The handling is terrific. No lean, no squat, no dive, just flat, neutral handling. If any of you are worried about doing this, don't be. You won't regret it at all. I'll post some pictures as soon as it stops raining here and I clean up my car. ~Doug Sweet

I was thinking about doing that to my car, but i had too many friends that lowered their hondas and just messed everything below their car, because of the low ride hight, so i dont have the money to fix the car if something happens!!!

First of all, Hondas are a completely different cars than Mercedes so you will get very different results. As the old Alabama saying goes, "Thank God for Mississippi." The only roads (mainly back roads) worse than Alabama are in Mississippi. If I don't scrape here, you won't scrape there. (well, unless you live in Mississippi) Realistically, whats 1.25 inches all around really going to hurt? I wouldn't worry about it. I was the same way until I actually rode in a Mercedes with Eibachs on it. That took all the worry away. It's still floats like a cloud but handles like a coffee mug.

P.S. Now you've gone and spoiled it. We know you don't have springs so we know the picture of your car has been photoshopped!!! Still looks nice though.

Well, I've already killed my shocks in less than 24 hours. Should've listened to you all. Does anyone have spring suggestions, prices, where to get them? Please post.

Sorry I said "spring suggesions" I meant to say "shock suggestions" tpliquid, where did you get your shocks? I don't necessarily want stiff, just good handling without bounciness. The OEM shocks are getting progressively worse by the mile. I need to do something fast for I am worried I will put premature wear on my new springs. It's nice to see all of these new people on here all of the sudden. Where did you all come from? Post pictures of your cars! (on a new thread of course)

Well i guess u kinda ended up like my friends with their hondas, hehe except you did not scrape the bottom of the car like they did but they also messed up their shocks.

To properly drop your car you need.

Good Springs,
Kamber Kit-to straighten your wheels back to this ( I ) instead of this ( \ )

and you need new shocks all together

For hondas it costs around good $800 for cheep material like american Racing,

For mercedes be sure to spend around 1,200+

Well, I just ordered 2 front Bilstein Sport Shocks. I got them for $80 a piece. Pretty good deal I guess since I only got 2 instead of 4. I'm going to hold off on the rear for now since those don't seem to be showing any signs of problems. The rear still feels tight.
