No, I actually sold the grill a week ago...
As for the AMG's, the AMG's on my w202 were stock 15's that came with the sport package that year. I always wanted to upgrade to 17' AMG monoblocks, but I never got around to it. The rims on my w203 are 17' and I think they're a little small, so I'm hoping to get 18' thin spoke AMG's (like the CL) in the next year or so. However, I'm just a little concerned that they won't look too much different from the ones already on there, so I may choose some other wheel/design.

grkpmpn69,
you're handier than me, for sure. I've never seen that kind of "eyelid" look; usually, it's a clumsy looking body mod that, I think, takes away from the clean MB lines. Does yours limit the amount of light coming thru the headlamp?[/QUOTE]

Eddieo, yeah man it took alot of time to get a design where i would not lose any range on my lighting at night, hence the angle that goes across the headlight, it is just above the bulb so that is not affected...although my brights do not shine as high as they used to be but not really affecting it to the point where the high beam is pointless, it took some careful measuring and removing pieces of vinyl to make it work...

That is with #2 pads all around. I will raise the back on Tuesday with the 17mm
pads. By my calculations, it should raise it 1/3" inch from the way it looks in this latest picture.

Best looking w202 in the world

All the w202's in the world wont look as good as my white c280 except my cousins which is pretty much the same thing. If you want to take a look at the cars it is posted in the will the real w202 please stand up forum and under the oct 23 meet at the rosebowl. Check out the drop on it thats as low as you can take a w202.

Healthy ego there, htc280!

actually I think most of us would rate your cousin's higher: nicer wheels, grille, and black way more popular than white. I think your drop is actually somewhat lower than you can take a w202: that's what all that rubbing and hopping is trying to tell you! Good luck with the sale though, and next time, link the thread, like this: CLICK HERE.
or the pic itself, like this:

Thanks for posting up the picture man I didnt know how to. lol. The reason I posted a message like that is to get everyones attention. I take your opinion your right about the rub and the hopping but about the look wise I would have to say your wrong. My car wasnt even washed that day plus my rims are better than his and looks better to cleaned. I got bigger pads for the car so teh front is going to come up alittle to stop the rubbing. If you know anyone thats intersted let me know

I noticed your cousin had the chrome on his door handles, so his is not a Sport; is yours? I'm finally ready to mod mine a bit---I just ordered a grille and I'll probably do clear corners. I've got more miles on my 2000 than you have on yours---how much are you asking?

His car is NOT a sport. You can tell b/c of the grey paint trim and the chrome trim on the middle. This w202 actually looks like it is a 94-95 (notice the non-glass sunroof?). And, I think the Sport package was first introduced in the 96 models.

As for the car, I'm not feeling the body kit at all on that C280...

My car is not sport eddieo45. I actually have 66000 original miles not 68000, I totally forgot when I was posting it. How can you have more miles than me, how many miles do you have? Your car looks good and clean. What are you going to do to it. I just raised the front of my car with pads. It worked great. I love it. It still is lower than the back but high enough not to rub and the car is smoother now. I did it at F1 motorsports. Hey is your car quick too? What kind of gas do you put 89 or 91? I have been putting 91 like it says but some told me I can put 89 it will be okay. I really dont want to sell my car now but I want a newer benz. I want 14000 obo. This is lower than what others are selling under the classifieds. Oh my cousins is a 1999 c230 kompressor and mine is a 94 C 280. I love my kit. Alot of people told me it looks good.

The "D" is for Germany. My mother is German and we have a big sense of pride in being German. The D just shows pride for the country. I believe the tag for Norway is "N" and Sweden is "S." Most cars I have seen while traveling in Europe have had some type of sticker on them proclaiming where the driver is from. I did not want to just put the sicker on the car so I took it to Kinkos (a print shop that can make photocopies) and had a magnet made. It sticks just fine even up to 130 mph and comes off whent he car needs to be washed and waxed.

I thought you would know what it meant, since you are from Norway ( by the way the country is great, I went there a couple years ago). The new thing at least in the South East US is to put these random oval stckers on your car with the initials of Island you visited or school that you or your kids attend. Only a few actually have a european country on them (the real and only reason to have one at least in my oppinion).

I'm guessing that Trond thinks the only reason to have one is if you drive outside your country, which is what they're for...we have them in my region with airport codes (ACK for Nantucket), local abbreviations (BI for Block Island), and just plain made-up sh*t (DOT for Dorchester, GLOVER for my 10 year old's grammer school); they're all pretty lame, especially if your car has never been there....
