Merclover: If I were you I would be pretty pissed off a long time ago. That time would have been when I drove off with what I though was a Kleemann supercharger but didn't feel any gains. Did you feel a HP boost?
Back to Rincewind's point, I also think this should strictly be a picture thread. I will delete all of my non-picture posts as soon as this conversation is over.

Merclover, you might want to take some close up photos of the turbo unit, it will be mounted on the pass side of the car down low on the exhaust(Manifold).

PS if you want to see what the S/C install looks like on a stock SLK230 check here;

First time posting here, so bear with me. I've been a 5 year owner of a sweet 1995 3000GT, but it's time to change. This Saturday I'm picking up a bright red 1998 C280 Sport. This Monday, limo tint and killer chrome 18's with 225/40/18's will be on it. Clear corners to follow shortly. These are pictures of it now. I'll post pictures of it after the rims go on. (going to attempt to post pics. LOL). Take it easy peeps.

Thanks! I've been wanting to buy one for a couple of months now. I was going to get a 2000 with low miles on it off of eBay. They go consistently for $17k of $18k. All I ever saw though in two months was silver or black. So I was gonna go with the black. Then the other night I saw this bright red one and my heart almost stopped. I actually wanted a red one (as you can tell from my red 3000GT, I like red cars) but I'd never seen one. As soon as I saw it, I bought it with the "buy it now" feature. I wasn't gonna wait around. It wasn't the 2000 that I wanted, but it only has 31,000 miles on it, and it's in mint condition, so I can live with that. Plus it only cost $15,500, so I think I did all right anyway. I can't wait to pick it up Saturday. It should look pretty sweet with the limo tint and these rims on it. See ya'!

donno if im digging those rims too much, but dont mind me im just an oem freak
if you like chrome, there are some pretty cool lorinser lm5 replicas. br5 lowenharts that henry has is dope too.
whatever you decide be sure to post pics and remember to drop the car! 18's on stock setup is pretty SUV sedan-ish

I have a vision! LOL! I think they'll look all right. I'm a chrome kinda guy, and I've always liked a 5-spoke type rim. I didn't want anything too wild to cheapen the look of the car. I think the rivot-style wheels look good on sedans also. I guess we'll see. Besides, I wasn't into paying $300 or $400 or more on a single wheel. I got the full set of these for $750 on eBay. (yes, I buy a lot of crap on eBay!) Peace!
P.S.: I just ordered the clear corners a few minutes ago. Found a new set for only $25. I want the clear tail lamps, but the cheapest I've found so far is in the $300's. Maybe next month! Here's the link for the clear corners if anybody wants them:
