Rain sensor location?

99 Mercedes C230K Sport

Rain sensor location?

I looked at my car in front of it and searched the room mirror area. I didn't find anything looking like a sensor. What does it look like? Where is it?
My ride is 99 C230 K.

Any AMG Thats Around..

usually in the windshield... top center....

Thanks for the reply.
Is it big enough to catch eyes easily? Again I have seen the top part. I haven't found anything there, but just wanted to make sure before replacing the windshield.

Okay I just re-checked my windshield. There's nothing on the top center of the windshield behind the room mirror, so I would say I don't have rain sensor. Instead, I found a small sensor-looking thing on the room mirror (the opposite side of real mirror) when I looked at the car in front of it. I also found a similar thing on the room mirror when I sit on the driver seat and look at the mirror. Are these light sensors not rain sensor?

Thank you for your reply. I re-checked again, but yes as you say I think we don't. I just replaced my windshield.

I believe it was an option. It's pretty easy to spot. I think it may come with the factory xenon that have the little wipers on the headlights. I would assume it was an option for model year 2000 since I have a 99. I'll have to take a pic one of these days.
