removing scratches?
whats the best item to use to remove the scratches? I have some turtlewax. 1998 c280 mercedes. any help would be appreciated.

I detail and Um dependin on how bad the scratches are u may need a better wax than turtle wax. if u can take ur fingernail and go across the scratch and feel it. some compound or wet sandin may need to be done i would have a detail shop do that if thats the case if its not that bad use any wax with a light abrasive and a high speed buffer (adjustable if u can) 1000rpm-1500rpm or and orbital but they dont work as good and try it first with a foam pad. i use automagic products such as swirl remover or diamond cut compund from megiuars is good but dont know if consumer can get there hands on it if it still appears light u may need a wool pad to start it then finish it off with the foam pad!!!! it all really depends how bad it is!!!!!
