Instrument Cluster Light Blubs c280
I have a 1995 c280. The light bulbs have burnt out around the Speedo and the Gas gauge. Anyone know how to replace them? Do I need to remove the instrument cluster?

yes u do i can buy the special tools of just use a regular flat head screw driver to take the cluster out and u can buy the bulb from this web site http://www.autohausaz.com/mercedes-a...FR11lgodAVTngA

95 c280 problems
I have a few lights out in my cluster. Does it pull out like on the previous thread. My fuel guage doesn't work. Is there a common problem for the fuel guage. I have read in other threads about removing the battery wrong can make it stop working but I don't think the 95 has all the bells and wistles of the newer models. thanks in advance

^^ yes, it pulls out, but you have to remove the steering wheel to make the job a lot easier.

u cant remove the steering wheel on some w202 well in my u can't do it i have a 99 c230 kompressor. to remove it will be more work and more time than just try to do it without removing it

Sure. It's easy. After disconnecting battery.

1. Remove airbag. (screws are at the back of the wheel)
2. Unscrew nut.
3. Pull out steering wheel.

Installation is reverse of the above steps.
