need to or want to?

i believe the fronts are 5 1/4 and the rears are 4" and you have two 5.5 subswoofers in the rear deck. your stock deck is crap, swap it with a nice alpine of pioneer you'll be happy man that's wat i did

My W203 used 6.5" in the front doors and 5.25" in the rear doors. Not sure if the W202 is the same. You can check Crutchfield.com and search your car for products. I just overhauled my speakers with JL Audio VR components. They sound great and will scream. And JL Audio is based in Miramar, so you can support your local company

I had the Bose on my '97 202. had to pull out the bose enclosures to fit the 6.5's in the front. In the rear deck, I pulled out the woofers and did a little cutting to fit the 6x9's. The stock sizes really suck, so you'll have to modify a little.Crutchfield wasn't any help.

I think the fronts are around 5", but with some work you can fit 6.5" speakers there, which sound a lot better. There are adapters available from Europe that let you do this, although I found that they had to be modified some:

Crutchfield is not useful for the speakers, but they give you a nice wiring harness if you buy a deck from them. Replacing the stock deck gives you a little more power output and a lot more functionality.
