My cig lighter no longer works on my c280..

and for some reason my under hood fuse box cover is missing. Can anyone point me to which fuse is most likely causing this issue?

Is there another possibility that would cause my cigarette lighter to suddenly stop functioning?

i have no cd changer (and cant afford to fork out the 600 bucks at the dealer for one) and now i cannot listen to my ipod through a fm adapter.. grrrrr

You probably want to replace that cover before it fills with water...

Unfortunately, I can't advise you. Can you just start pulling fuses to check? Don't forget the fusebox in the trunk in case it is in there.

If you are a member at club202.com, I believe someone may have posted the fuse box diagram there.

Edit - I just did a search over at club202 and did not see a diagram. It must have been on one of the other forums.

According to a post over at club202, it is the #14 fuse and it is a blue 15 amp one.

looks like according to that picture its a 15 amp and fuse 23 in the main box under the hood.

i will see what happens when i get home later today
