Time for RIMs, need our help

Ok well Ive finally decided to get rid of my 15" stock rims on my 202. Ive decided on getting the chrome AMG Monoblock rims but I just have one question, should I go for 17" or 18" rims?

1. Currently I love the way my car can turn on a dime, will bigger rims affect my turning radius at all?

2. If I get 18" rims, what size do the front and back tires need to be?

3. What would look better 17" or 18" chrome amgs?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

overall handling should be better with less sidewall to move around, tire size depends on rim widths but on a regular setup 225/40/18. Chrome monoblocks are tough, what color is your car? If you get 17 you'll want 18, in either case be prepared to lower your car otherwise it'll look 4x4ish

I currentlyhave a black 2000 c230 K, I would like to be able to put these on my car with the least amount of work possible. Would 17" as apposed to 18" make that big a difference in the way my car will handle?

Likely no, 17 vs 18 isn't that much of a difference all things (width, type of tires) being equal. If you have really bad roads some people would sooner go for 17, but most find 18 to be fine as long as they are a quality wheel.

In either case lowering your car after the wheel swap would be key as it'll look very raised up.

I have 8.5 x17 in front and 9.5 x17 on the rear on both of my W202's.

I would go with 17" since the W202 was designed to accomodate that size, it will look and feel better than an 18" which will be much more harsh and look oversized.

do 18s slammed with w208 bushings
w208 bushings are quieter with a better ride than regular w202 bushings because w208 bushings aren't hollow. so 18s feel fine
