96 C220 ABS Pump
After trying to stop in the snow, my abs system would kick in, then the front wheels would lock up taking me for a slide. The back brakes seem to do nothing. Took the car into MB dealer, they told me that there is a voltage problem with the solinode in the ABS pump.
Has any one encountered a similar problem?

Make sure the dealer isn't ignorant or just trying to rip you off. It varies from model to model and implementation, and I am not sure it applies in your situation because I don't have enough information on your situation, but ABS often will not deploy in very low speed situations and then some were programmed to go ahead and lock up under "X" miles an hour because in some situations like ICE and snow, ABS working full time at very low speed would actually increase the stopping distance.

1996 MB C220 ABS Pump
Thanks for the info. Will look in to it. Just to update, I bought a used abs pump on e bay. My plan is to try the new pump to see if there is a difference.
I had the car in to MB for a further investigation of this problem, they said that I was right, that the system was not working 100%. The computer test code ABS C1314-004 (voltage supply solenoid valves--A7/3) came out. Does any one have the smarts to translate this code????
Thanks Guys
