how can i reprogram the car system?

The car me marks what lacking me for the near(next) change of oil, but this system this one programmed to work with normal oil, if I put synthetic oil is going to last more of what the machine tells that it should last. There exists the possibility of lengthening this period in the system of the car?
i have a W202 C250 td 1998

I believe the bj.1998 cars have the FSS system that requires 229.3 or (preferably) 229.5 oil, which are almost always synthetic. Also, you will need the fleece filter for extended drain intervals.

This would probably be the best oil for your application: http://www.liqui-moly.de/liquimoly/p...id/d_1340.html

what is FSS system? how it works?

I puted in the car good synthetic oil. But what I want to know is since I reschedule the pc of the car in order that for example the system does not say to me " they are absent 8.000km for the near(next) change of oil " want that it says to me " they are absent 14.000km for the near(next) change of oil "

I am guessing from your ID that you are German (please excust me if I am wrong). The name for the system is Assyst Plus (or just Assyst depending on the model year) for the entire world (I said FSS because that is what it is called in the US). This may help:

It seems that the period will automatically set itself depending on the oil standard used (229.3 / 5), but you must be sure to use the fleece filter for longer intervals.
