I've read on the 500e that you could find a tab on the wiring harness near the fire wall that would have a manufacture date on it. I looked in the same area for mine but didn't see anything like that. Would anybody know where I need to look to see if this has been replaced or not? Thanks.

Is this for a M104 engine before 1997?

If so..the coating of the wire would be brittle and break off when you touch it leaving it exposed.
