Hazards and turn signals not functioning

Hey guys,

I have this C280 that belongs to my gramps and were trying to figure out why his turn signal or hazards refuse to come on. I checked for power at the turn signal fuse and saw around 11.5 Volts. No clicking sound when hazards or turn signals are on, nothing. I did a bit of searching and found some one say they pulled the turn signal relay (201 821 00 47) next to the fuse box drivers side engine bay and put it back in and it started working which I've tried with no luck.

Any suggestion on what to do next besides just trying to replace that relay? I'm sure that things gonna cost a lot... But my gramps is driving a Benz he better be able to afford it.

i would guess the combination relay, as you say you have removed, my one was in the fuse box in the engine bay which is has the screws holding it closed, see if you can change it for another relay, i had the same problem and changed the relay and it fixed it, but my windscreen wiper was also playing up as well as the indicators, you should be able to get that relay cheap from a wrecker, to make sure its the right relay take it out and see if the windscreen wipers also stop.
i think i am correct, but dont offer a warrenty
