New ASP Pulleys for W202 C230K
Linh just talked to Lee from ASP about their new and improved pulley. ASP decided to changed/improved the design of their pulley because of JUST one incident happen to a customer pulley.
Old ASP PULLEY:
-One-piece aluminum with steel ring pressed on to the hub.
-15% increased in diameter.
-Retail $350
New ASP PULLEY (improved version):
-Steel hub with outer aluminum pressed on, welded and re-balanced.
-15% increased in diameter.
-Retail $300
* ASP will be gladly to exchange the new pulley for those customer that bought the old pulley but ASP asked that you pay for shipping round trip.
CUSTOM ASP PULLEY (For those that want the to use their "factory" pulley because it has the factory "balancer")
-Factory pulley with outer aluminum pressed on, welded and re-balanced.
-10% increased in diameter.
-Retail $200
* The down side to this "custom" pulley is that you have to send in your factory pulley and ASP would like to only increase the diameter to 10% (about 1 psi of boost less) for perfectly balance. But for those that want the 15% increase diameter, ASP will still make it for you, if request.
