"floating" idling
hi!! i'm a new comer and i've a question about my 1994 C280.
recently i found that the idling rpm of my C280 is not so stable. especially when i drive my car slow, say, 20-30km/h in the car park. once i stop pressing the gas pedal, the idling rpm will "float" +/- 200rpm!!! i've changed the spark plugs, coils, air filter and i've cleaned the Mass air flow sensor. well, improved a bit!!??
what i should do??

If you read in some of my earlier posts (K&N filter, notice a difference?) you will see that cleaning the air mass meter doesn't always do anything. I would just change it out entirely. They are about $190 at www.bimmerzone.com . You may want to get the diagnostics run on it first just to make sure that is actually your problem.

thanks for the reply!!! well, just wanna know whether this car has the idling sensor or not coz' i know sometimes the Bimmers will have such a problem due to the malfunction of this sensor.
