1998 c280. The passenger window goes down smoothly, but going up is the problem. It goes up about 1/2 cm with each tap on the switch, so i have to tap the switch about two dozen times to move the window all the way up. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Could it be the window motor? Any help is appreciated?

You need roll the window down all the way, but not in the auto roll mode...I guess you call it that....and do not let go. Once your window is completely down push the button further for like 10 seconds or something and then release. That should reset or reprogram so your windows roll up and down automatically.
