water pump

hey guys, at what mileage did your water pump fail, or at what mileage you had the water pump replaced? My 98 C280 has 132k mi, and it seems to have the original water pump.

Depending on how you drive and service the car. I wouldn't go and change it for just a PM (prevented maintenance) If the car runs cool and has no problems and sounds OK don't worry. There is really no way of trying to determine how long it will last. Some have gone @50K others still running good after 175K.

replaced mine at 93000 miles. I noticed that mine started leaking water pretty bad.

thanks all for the replies. I think I will replace the water pump when it reaches 150k mi. I don't want it to fail while going on a long trip.
