Gauges stopped working when weather too hot?
Can someone please help me out? I have a 97 C280 111k miles and 2 days ago when it was real hot the gauges all stopped working. The fuse is good the odometer works but none of the gauges (speedo, temp, tach, fuel) are working except for in the morning the initial start while it is still cool. anyone?

I had the same problem before and got resolved by unpluging my battery from the terminal for 15 minutes and everything work fine since then. The only difference in my case is that when I turn on my head, it causes my instrument panel to die and turn back on. Eventually I ignored it thinking it was just an electrical trip from the car since I just installed a new set of HID on my car.
Then one day, it just died on me and never came back on.. everything was dead except for the gas level. First thing I did was to remove the battery and when I put it back on, it worked again. Hope that yours do the same.
