Hi, I am a new forum user and am interested in buying a 2000 C230 K. Problem is that the mileage doesnt display on the odometer. Only a few segments show, but is not legible. Any ideas what the cause could be and is it an easy fix?

 

People have had success just shimming the connector for the ribbon cable. Can't guarantee it will work for you though. Just start doing some searching across the forums here and the other Mercedes sites. This is a common issue for many late 90's and early 00's MBs.

 

If you are wanting to get mileage... the dealer can read the correct mileage by connecting to the car.
