Lighting Question

So i can't afford projectors and HID kit right now, so i was thinking about just getting white bulbs.. i don't understand the numbers though like H7 and H2 and stuff.. is it a direct replacement? or do i have to worry about voltages and things?

There is definitely a direct replacement for the bulbs. I'm assuming that your in the U.S, therefore your car has an H4 type of bulb. Those numbers you see are types of bulbs.

k i think i have the similar question.

So my headlamps are having this awful lighting, and I presume it perhaps it only use H1 bulbs, instead of H4.

is there any way to improve the lighting performance, since it is pretty awful I always gets blinded by another passer by - a condition I never experienced before.

aside than using HID as an aftermarket solution, can you guys help me how to improve the lighting performance using this H1 bulbs?

any help is greatly appreciated,
