Serpentine belt and tensioner adjustment

I wonder if someone can assist! In the process of changing water pump so will probably do all the hoses, and belt.
My Problem:

The tensiner adjustment on the C180 is different to what I have on my 300SE.

There is a pulley with a plastic cap which I have removed beneath where there is a tensioner nut that I loosened (if I remove, the tensioner pulley can be reomoved). Through the center of this nut is what looks like a male torx which I presume is what must be used to adjust.

Is this correct and if so what is the procedure to adjust because I would hate to start off by stripping things?

Also, whatsize 'female torx' socket fits this?

Will appreciate assistance beacuse I really tried approaching it from a ;teutonic mind but have not been successful

Is the tensioner actually adjustable? I did not know it was adjustable. I have used that male torx head as an attachment point to swing the tensioner back to release the belt and have taken the nut off to remove the pulley but did not know of any way to adjust.

Much appreciated, I believe you are absolutley correct. A further request, if you dont mind. Now theat the water pump has been removed, how do I go about removing the clutch assembly from the pulley?

Also, the torx nut for use on the tensioner, do you know what size?
