Cigarette Lighter not working on 1998 C200 (AUS)
I have a 98 C200 with about 126 000km on the clock. Problem is that the cigarette lighter doesnt work. Nothing can charge from it.
Any idea what to check first before taking it to the stealership?

yea shud jus be a blown fuse.... my light in the storage compartment next to d lighter is blown....do i simply pull it out and replace it or is thr more to it???

You know, I have the same issue with my ash-tray lamp (well it's actually a coin tray for me 
) Sometimes the light goes on, sometimes it doesn't. I think the wire is just loose and needs to be replaced. That'll be fun. But it's not really a critical light for me anyway. Not like anything bad will happen if I flick a coin into another tray instead :P
