Bad engine misfire, P0304, which is cylinder 4?
I have a very rough idle, OBD shows P0304- cylinder 4 misfire. Which cylinder is that in the 2000 C230 Komp? Does the order go 1-4 (front of car towards rear of car)?
Any experience with this? Seems most obvious is the ignition coil, I swapped the coil to a different cylinder, but I'm still getting the same code.
I have also changed the spark plugs.
For cylinder 4 (if that is the one farthest back) I do not see a spark plug wire. I only see the coil going directly to the plug (via the tower). I see spark plug wires for cylinders 1 and 3. Is there something I am missing? Maybe it's a plug wire?
Would this be indicative of a fuel injector?
