C280 Windshiled Wiper
Hi. New to the forum and need a bit of help. I have a 1997 C280 and the single wiper has been slowing down when it gets cold (I live in the Great White North). Would someone be able to point me to instructions on how to re and re the assembly so I can take it out to have a look?
Thanks for any help offered.
Cheers, Scott

Scott , its probably a lubrication problem.Stop the wiper in the 12 o'clock postion and remove the plastic cover at the base of the arm. When its removed you will see the exposed metals rods.Spray the entire area will a silcone lubricant , WD40 , white lithium grease , or even bicycle chain lubricant.Operate the wiper for about a minute then re-lubricate and yor done , it should be good to go.Do this once or twice a year (late fall & early spring) and you should have no problems!
PM me if you need more help.

Great. Thanks very much for the help. Just went in and lubed it with some white grease and it is moving way faster now! I'll have to keep an eye on it from now on.
