supercharger noise
I have a noise coming from the supercharger are, not sure if its from the kompressor clutch or the actual supercharger.
If the noise is coming from the supercharger, would changing the supercharger oil eliminate or reduce the noise?

the oil inside the kompressor is not supposed to be serviced.. What noise are you hearing? I've seen plenty go bad and alot of people don't worry about the noise.. Generally its the 2 rotors wearing eachother away or the rotors wearing against the case of the kompressor..

The is no service per se for changing the supercharger oil, but there is a proceedure to check the oil level and top off if it is low.
It's similar to checking the gear oil level in a differential. You have to remove the airbox completely to get to the oil filler plug.
You didn't really describe the sound. Mine blew a seal in the compressor chamber and whenever I got over half throttle it sounded like a pop off valve on a turbo. Had it replaced under warranty.

The noise is like a grinding noise. Turns out I need a new supercharger clutch. It's always engaged and I have a code for it. I've performed actuation tests for it with an sds and it will not disengage.
Anyone know where I can get one at a good price? The lowest I can get it for is $450.
