Question Question about rims

I was wondering if these rims would fit on my 00' C230K. It says it will fit C class but the w203's. Will it fit the w202's?

The link for the rims:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6782

I need the answer too. Will they fit with a lowered car? They are 18" by 8.5".

Well that just sucks. According to tirerack, I my max wheel width in front can be 7.5 inches. That's what I have now and it's really close. 18 by 7.5 inch wheels are hard to come buy. (or at least the one's I like)

By the way, I don't even know who to get to roll my fenders around here. Remember, I'm in Alabama.

Huh?! What kind of car are you telling Tirerack.com you have? Because a C280 lists several 18x8" wheels, and even a few 18x8.5" wheels as fitting.

Awww, brings a tear to my eye... sniff

If you need rolling, even in Alabama, you can head down to Billy Bob's service station (or whatever) and they will use a bat and roll your fenders. I am sure this service is available near you.

This is not a joke.

Seriously, it's not.

Back to the tire fitting issue. I know they list those wheels for the C280 that are even 8.5 inches wide, but this is for stock height. Mine is lowered.

How did you indicate to Tirerack that your car is lowered... I'm wondering why 8" and 8.5" wide wheels came up. Certainly 8" is OK for a lowered car. Actually, 8.5" is OK for a lowered car too, it just depends on the degree of lowering. A car that is lowered a lot will have a problem with a 6" rim. It really is all variable.

As long as it is done slowly (and the paint is heated to prevent cracking), the tool doesn't really matter. A baseball bat can be used nearly as well as a fender roller, better in some instances.

As a matter of fact, we only got the fender roller because we lost the baseball bat.

The bat should be by the toolbox!

We got the fender roller because we thought it would be faster. We thought we could move the roller over once and where done. But turns out it takes up the same amount of time. But now since we have it we might as well use the roller. The bat is actualy more convinient Dont need to take your wheel off.

Roller looks cooler to work with then a bat.

Couldn't find it. I was going to go postal on some punk *** the other day and the bat wasn't there. So I grabbed a pry bar instead.

It doesn't clear ANYONE's brakes. Not even Marcus' non-ventilated single-piston front calipers.

So don't think you're special or anything.
