1996 Night security illumination issue
C220 w/sec. system. Symptom: car off, lights off, alarm off, close door and low beams come on for 30 sec=correct night security illumination.
Yesterday my wife complained that the right headlight was out while driving home, but I observed that when the car was parked and the NSI is activated the r-lite comes on and the L-lite is out, just the opposite from when the lights are activated by the HL-switch under normal conditions. I'm sure this is directly related to the security system. All the fuses are good and only when each respective H-lite is illuminated is there power at the fuse. Is there a relay for this? Thank you!
