95 W202 C280 Bose Amplifier caught fire
So I need to replace the amp because it caught fire. I have seen plenty on ebay that look just like it but say 96-99, a couple say 93-99. The ones that say they are out of a 95 are rediculously priced. Will any of the Amps work or were they specific to different model years.

Don't know I just got in the car after work, started driving, then heard some popping from the speakers, and an electrical fire smell. Pulled over opened trunk saw smoke pulled the left side carpet paneling back, and the amps had smoke and flames flicking out of it. one thing I noticed is the grommet around the power antenna is all messed up and it rained extremely hard that day, possible that rain got down in there shorted something and then dust inside the amp caught fire.
I just need to know if any amp from 93-97 will work? need music but don't want to replace everything, this car is a beater, it is a stop gap, until I sell my house then I am getting either 2004+ E55 or 2006+ ML320 CDI/Bluetech.
