Got my OEM Avantgarde grill today...

It looks very nice, congrats. Do you know if it will work with pre-98, w202's? I noticed the pics were of a "facelifted" w202, so I'm not too sure if the grill will fit mine--a 97 C280 Sport. If it does, I'll just try to order the part number that you listed. Thanks!

oem avantgarde grill will work with 94-00.
bekkers grill is a replica, not oem. please see the other thread about replicas, there are 'issues' which may or may not be a concern to you, aside from the price difference.
if you order from dealer part number is B6 688 0127
ppl have claimed to have paid between 400-500 for it, expensive.

Evosport charges less then 200$. He said he had one OEM insert left so i got it. Anything less th OEM price is cheap, it had the mbsymbol on it and the part # so I assume it's real. But if it's a replica, it's damn nice one.

if it had 210 888 and the mb symbol, its oem.
i didnt even realize evosport were selling em. didnt see on their website.
usually i dont check there often cause they arent very w202 friendly... they only list stuff for the newer models

If it has 210 888 xxxx on it, it is an OEM E-class insert. Who cut it is the important part. If Mercedes cut it, then it is OEM for W202. If someone else cut it, it's not.
