I need some w202 info

I'm normally in the w124 forums, but my heavily modded w124 cabrio is getting up in age and I'm looking at moving a lot of the performance stuff over to a w202.
I have one of the rare Turbo Technics twin turbo kits on my current car, sl600 Silver Arrow braking as well as some other goodies.
My initial thought is to transfer things over to a C280 which has a m104 platform and find the manual transmission and diff from a 190 16v. This would strictly be a fun car.
A 94 C220 has come available locally that had a c43 body kit on it and has transmission problems. How much different are the mounting points on the motor, I4 vs I6?
I'm still at the thinking about it stage and exploring options.
Positive opinions are very welcome.

Hey, Joe;
Try E-Mailing "berti_00 " on this forum. Albert sold his heavily modded W124 300E and bought a Kompressor W202, with extensive suspension and brake mods.
However, interestingly, he sold it a bit later for a BMW 3 Series.
Maybe he can tell you a few things about swapping parts or living with a 202 after a 124???

Let us W124 guys know what you get up to. More people are getting out of these "old" cars, now.

Will do. Like I mentioned, I'm just looking at options and truthfully I've been all over the map. Some of the aftermarket parts that are on my cabrio are not worth even close to what I paid and it would be a shame to take a huge loss on them. That's why I'm thinking of sticking with a mod-able MB as a toy.
WHen you have a sec drop me a pm or email me if you have my address still.

Does anyone know if the C220 has the Winter/standard mode for the automatic transmission?

Hello, is your transmission switch mode only have E & S? If yes, then just switch to E mode, it will similar with W (winter) mode.
