Saw a brand new red Evolution 8 parked behind me today...hmm...alot better looking than those junky lancers... Anyhow u guys think my M3 can smoke that ricy beast? Just curious...

HA HA!!!:p But seriously, the evo 8 will kill your M3. It's got more horsepower and weighs much less. Speaking of which, don't even try racing the new Dodge Neon SRT4. 0-60 in 5.4 = the fastest car at the cheapest price, $19,000!!! They should change the name back to the old school Dodge Dart and give it a concave rear window.

 

huh? it should kill the e36 m3...those things are getting old (still fast tho). but i'd bet it's pretty even with the new e46 m3. i think the two are dead on. straightline, m3 would probably win 8 out of 10...given the fact u can do great launches repetitively (smg2 baby!)... handling...that's even harder to tell...awd vs bwm's rwd...even braking should be pretty close.

 

Oh, whoops. I just realize he has a 2003. 333 horsepower will kill the evo8

 

Yea i was like Evo 8 has more hp? lol? NOT compared to the 03 M3! Well they should have a big advantage from lighter weight and 4wd...so thats what i actually worry about Will try to pick on one on da street some day...hehe

 

on straight highway, i think your M3 can win with no doubt(not the pick up but the high end). on twisty roads especially up hill and down hill... well, depend on your skills!!!

a 4WD EvoVIII has a light body with plenty hp. the hp/ton ratio is pretty good + 4WD. really a tough race!!! U know, we are driving FR cars. they really need skills to handle them well!!!
