EC Button not turning off.

EC Button not turning off.
I have a single zone climate control with the all button controls in a. I pushed the EC button and I can't figure out how to turn off EC mode. The A/C compressor does not run in EC and I want it off. The owners manual is completely vague about it. Anyone out there can explain me how to turn off the EC light???

The ec light is on because you have some sort of failure with the system. A leak, a bad pressure switch, a bad compressor. Pull the codes. Do a search here to find out how.

Gonna have to believe ya since a dealership service man said the Sam thing. What's weird is that I'm the one who turned it on and it just never went away. Kinda wish we had the multi-function display like on a W203 and up, haha...
