On startup I get down the road and my engine just pops away with small loud pops it struggles to get in gear and it just has no pickup.. any suggestions...new plugs were installed less than a month ago.. i have a cam position code going off at the present time.. not sure if this would do that though.

You mean crank shaft positioning sensor. That would have alot to do with the situation. I had a W202 with that issue and once replaced it was good as new. Are you a DIY guy? If not try and find a good indi shop in your area to do the work.

I thought the CPS either worked or not. Had the problem some months ago, but the car woudn't start when hot. No problem when the engine was cold. Changed the CPS, no more problems hot or cold
