How do I get rid of the "putt putt" sound?
Somebody always asks me if my car is a diesel. Only because the engine or whatever makes the stupid "putt putt" sound. Sometimes it is embarrasing because all the other benzes sound so nice and smooth. Help.

Maybe you have a diesel. If not, you are the only one. Ha Ha. Are you the same person as structure8 on aol? He was asking me the same question. Maybe he's just being stupid or something.

haha, that's funny cause that happens to me also. When accelerating it would make that putt putt noise but goes away about 3-5mins. Weird...............OR can it be that we need an oil change?
