Headlight switch 94 C220

The headlight switch on my 94 C220 has gone from almost impossible to turn to almost spinning on it's own. I plan on changing it myself, but have not attempted such a feat in 7 years or so. Could anyone please give me some guidance in how to do this without tearing out anything needlessly? A copy of a WIS would help.

Thanks for the WIS. I'm headed north now and won't get back to it for a couple of weeks.

Changed out the switch today. You can use a 1" socket on the nut at the switch even though it is 24mm. There is one fatener that gave me a fit. It is on the right side of the drivers under dash cover hidden with a trim piece. It is an 8mm hex head screw about 4" up and almost impossible to see and guess the size at least for someone alittle over weight. The switch itself comes out easy after removing everything else.
Thanks for the WIS.

I purchased it from Peachtree Parts for about $68 versus 168 at the dealer.

I got a used switch off ebay for $15 about 2 months ago. Works great and took me only a few minutes.
