hello, i recently purchased a 1999 mb c230 with 78k miles. The previous owner put a different badge on the back. It reads clk320 kompressor 
i want to remove this but im not sure how. Anybody know of a product to use to de badge the back of the car. Also i need some advice on what to use on my rear side window. It has a big old bar code. I want it removed as well. Thanks!

what i did was use a heat gun and floss to take the writing off. i then used "Goof-off" to remove the glue. my w202 is black and some of the shine did go away but im going to give the car a buff anyway so it's no biggie
