yup scuff ...clean clean clean and spray lightly bought the can of tint from autozone and actually my boy did it that paints car professionally cuz i f'd it up the first time we also put 2 or 3 clear coats too after

OK so let me get this right...you sprayed the outside of the lens with tint from AZone than put a C/C over that? What about the BU Light section did you tape that off or did you color that also... Thanks Looks good in the pix included

No I have not, but was thinking of doing it, but I like to drive and not get hit by some idiot who doesn't pay attention when a car is braking so i passed on the idea. Since u have a 97 C280 u might want to upgrade the lens to '98-2000 lens more practical if u want them looking spiffy and cool light smoked sport.

dont do it.ull eventually regret it after.i recommend get n them tinted the normal way.if u ever get pulled over or get bored of them u can just peel the tint off.i sprayed my w208 tails and i wish i didnt.now im looking to get the new leds.
